Apricots

The crucial period of frost risk has passed with a bumper crop expected for the new
season. While not all risk has been eliminated, early speculation is that prices will open
lower than 2016. Typically a larger crop results in smaller fruit so it also expected that there
will be more of a price differential between the larger and smaller sizes.
Independently from new crop blooming news, current crop prices are stable, as the supply
is tight coupled with a firming Lira. Exports are tracking 10% ahead of same time last year.
