Macadamias

March 22, 2017

The Australian Macadamia Society (AMS) reported in early March that the 2017 Australian crop forecast is 54,000mt NIS at 10% moisture. This would be the fourth year of consecutive growth for the industry and a 4% volume increase on last season. Global supply is expected to be stable with reports of poor crops in South Africa and Kenya due to drought. Expect pricing to remain firm.
