Product Description

Guar Gum is obtained by extracting the endosperm of the Guar plant Cyamopsis Tetragonolobus, family Leguminoseae. It can be used in a range of applications, as a thickener, stabilizer, rheology, control agent, clouding agent and as a processing aid.


Varieties/Types/Grades

Available in a range of viscosities from 2500 to 5000 + cps and varying mesh sizes dependant upon applications. Product can be tailored to meet food, pet food and industrial applications.


Countries of Origin and Seasonality

Guar is available predominantly from India and also Pakistan. The crop is reliant on the annual Monsoon and is harvested in November/December.
